About Us

G'day, I'm Mitch. i came to the Mudgee Region over 5 years ago now with a vision in mind. We wanted to create a peaceful place where people could come to relax and disconnect. In our previous life before moving to Mudgee we were based in Sydney and we worked a lot. We used to seek out rural getaways in search for tranquility and rest, which allowed us to reconnect together but also to ourselves. We found life was crazy busy and it was important to us to be able to get away for a few days to recharge our batteries. This was our inspiration for Resteasy Farmstay. To create the perfect place to unwind, relax and reset. We also have a big passion for refurbing and repurposing furniture. We are very fortunate that the Mudgee community have got behind another venture of ours The Crafty Wombats which repurposes or refurbs old unwanted furniture, giving it a new lease on life.
